Seen as an indispensable staple in many professional setups, the pedal has become an industry standard that is widely imitated, but seldom surpassed.The new Nobels ODR-mini 2 is the next stage in the evolution of the legendary ODR-1’s little brother, the ODR-mini. Due to popular demand, this diminutive powerhouse now features a very useful bass cut feature as an external control. Added to this, the upgraded full metal housing, along with the integrated Mounty-P Mounting Plates, completes the worthwhile upgrades for this compact dynamo.Main Features• Natural Analog Mini Overdrive Effects Pedal• New Variable Bass Cut knob - helps to tame and adjust the low end• Spectrum Tone control - double filter tone control that simultaneously cuts/boosts bass and treble frequencies, with centre indent• New upgraded metal enclosure• True Bypass• Glow in the Dark pointer knobs• Includes 4x integrated Mounty-P Mounting Plates• Powered by a regular 9-18 V DC PSU (not supplied - requires centre - 2.1 mm, ~12 mA current draw)For extended ease of use, the internal Bass Cut feature originally included in the ODR-1BC is now available as an external variable control right on the face of the pedal. This allows for complete optimisation of the pedal’s bass response on the fly, at the simple turn of a knob. The flexibility of this new additional control compliments Nobels’ unique and renowned SPECTRUM tone control, which alters the proportion of both the low-mid and high frequencies simultaneously. At midday, the frequencies remain almost untouched. However, moving from the minimum to maximum positions will deliver variations in frequency response that are suitable for a wealth of musical tastes and styles.With its newly designed and upgraded full metal enclosure, the ODR-mini2 is capable of operating at either standard 9V or 18V for increased dynamic headroom. Along with all other Nobels pedals, the ODR-mini2 now also features 4 integrated Mounty-P Mounting Plates for safe and secure attachment to pedalboards.
