A highly adept backcountry avalanche airbag system featuring the E2 Airbag System from Deuter. The Alproof series from deuter designed for backcountry adventurers looking to stay safe in the harshest of winter environments. With an array of features, this the flagship avalanche airbag from deuter to endure the rigours of backcountry riding. Part of Deuters Slim line or Short Length, the Alproof SL packs are designed in collaboration with the female ambassadors to offer an improved tailored fit for the athletic female figure. The SL range also suits slender men and youth who have shorter torsos and slender frames. The SL features a lower than standard shoulder strap anchor point, this fundamental in ensuring an anatomically optimum fit for the shoulders and waist. The tapered shape of the hip belt combined with anchor points that slant upwards, further adds to the tailoring of the SL line towards the female anatomy. Straps have a contoured S shape, the rounded construction of these conforms around sensitive areas hugging the pack to the user. The Alproof uses the latest in avalanche airbag safety technology with the fully electronic Alpride E2 system. The unit uses super capacitors to replace the traditional Li-ion battery, the airbag system not sensitive to low temperatures, resulting in the same dependable performance from -30C to 40C. With the new E2 the unit provides fast, high-pressure deployment with relatively low maintenance and transport far superior to cartridge airbag systems. The status of the E2 can be easily checked with a LED display. In use, the trigger can be located on either the left or right shoulder strap to provide easy activation. Intuitive and easy to learn the E2 can be practised pre-season to ensure youre safe in the mountains. The Alproof series use deuters Alpine Back system, this provides a compact snug fit, whilst keeping the load close to the body to provide better carrying performance without compromising airflow. For stability in the hills a fully adjustable wait belt, coupled with shoulder straps works in conjunction to provide a comfortable fit for many miles into powder. A lag safety strap included and recommended together to prevent the backpack from being ripped off during an avalanche. The leg strap also easily secured, without having to undo the waist belt.As with all backcountry packs the Alpoof features an avalanche equipment safety compartment to access must-have lifesaving equipment. A reinforced shovel sleeve and organiser pockets provide compartmentalization and organisation whilst also ensuring the durability of the pack. A zippered valuables pocket provides security for your essentials while a pass-through from the main body of the pack and bladder sleeve means the unit a hydration system compatible with reservoirs up to 3L in size. For carrying other hardware the Alproof feature two stowable modular gear straps to attach skis in an A frame configuration or a snowboard on the face of the pack. Ice
