With eight tracks of audio in total the R12 can be used to create everything from demos to fully-fledged songs. Add depth and texture to your signals/sounds using the onboard effects. Each track also features a 3-channel EQ and a compressor. Adding to its portability the Zoom R12 can be run on 4 x AA batteries with a battery life of up to five hours - perfect for musicians on the move. For longer sessions the R12 can also be run via a power adapter (AD-17 power supply included) or via a USB battery. The recorder also features USB/SD card connectivity so you can import your own custom audio samples. In addition to the preamps the R12 also features Hi-Z connectivity so you can plug your guitar directly into the recorder.
