For easy on and off access, the Quantic features a 5mm flare around the base, while the VAS MAX vision visor comes with a Anti-fog insert ready for use.The brushed nylon interior is removable and features a Facial Contour System (FCS) and a rolled wire neck pocket.It also features an Emergency Release System (ERS).This new model has been officially approved and certified according to ECE 22-06 standard.GENERAL.Outer shell:PB e-cLc (Peripherally Belted e-Complex Laminate Construction).The Quantic´s outer shell design features a sleek, organic shape and uses PB e-cLc for lightweight strength and, for the first time, integrated side ducts.The AR mat has been replaced by a new material that allows for weight reduction while maintaining strength.An additional layer of Super Fiber belts, instead of the Hyper Ridge found around the base of the Profile-V, maintains rigidity in a crucial area while offering flat sides for easy fitting of an intercom.The Variable Axis System (VAS) lowers the visor mounting system and produces an average of an additional 24mm in both temple areas, to generate the ideal, smoother shape that increases energy-shedding capability.Like the Profile-V, the Quantic´s shell flares out 5mm around the base, to facilitate easy on and off access.Variable Axis System (VAS) With the VAS system, the mounting position of the visor is lowered, which allows an average of 24 mm more to be utilized around both temple areas, in search of the ideal smoother shape that will increase the ability to dissipate impact energy.As a result, a smoother shell has been achieved along and below the Snell standard test line.Ventilation.Quantic Ventilation.Full and controllable ventilation is based on 13 Ventilation ports.7 intake, 6 exhaust.The Arai 3D logo feeds cooling air into two central intake points and works well at low speed, along with F1-derived dual tear duct top intakes, twin vent holes, and 2-position sliding air intake, filtered chin vent.Hot air is efficiently extracted through the 3-way one-piece rear spoiler/exhaust system, the dual inserted side intakes (with foam dams to reduce noise), and the neck exhaust system.Dual tear duct top vents.Initially taken from Arai´s F1 helmet, the tear ducts maintain the airflow of the previous design
