This snare is a real throwback using Pearls traditional wood snare components for a truly vintage sound. Even down to the finishing touches an original die-cut script badge and a new ripple covered finish give the President Series Deluxe snare drum a remarkable modern-classic feel. The 14 x 5.5 shell is constructed from 6-ply 7.5mm Lauan shells to provide an immersive response with a traditional and vintage feel. Combined with eight classic Pearl Battleship lugs the Pearl President Deluxe 14" x 5.5" Snare Drum offers a solid foundation with consistent and reliable tuning. Each snare is fitted with an adjustable internal muffler allowing you to slightly alter the dampening of the drum to best suit your desired sound.
