Zvezda 923712-1/35 ZIL 130 Scale 1:35Plastic model kit of a Soviet truck with 253 parts length built 190 mm. Several decals for civilian vehicles are included. The ZIL-130 truck became one of the most popular trucks in the history of the Russian auto industry. The first five trucks were built in 1962 and mass production ran at the Moscow plant from 1963 to 1994. Over 3.3 million vehicles were manufactured during this time. The truck was equipped with a V-shaped 8-cylinder carburettor engine with a power of 150 hp power steering and a three-seat cabin. The truck was widely used in the national economy and in the army. As part of the modernization of the ZIL-130-76 (produced since 1977) the life of the chassis has been increased to 300000 km and the payload increased to 6 tonnes. In 1978 the machine received a new grille and a number of other external changes and since 1980 three position lights have been installed on the cab roof. The ZIL-130 was produced in this form until 1983.
