Since M.2 SSDs are not designed for hot swap changes their connections are particularly sensitive and usually designed for only 250 plug-in cycles. With the EZConvert MB705M2P-B M.2 PCIe NVMe SSDs can be changed via hot swap without using the internal connections. Instead the connector used by ICY DOCK and rated at 10000 plug-in cycles is used. Hot swap switches allow you to add and remove and swap drives effortlessly without restarting the system. EZConvert MB705M2P-B takes all 30mm-80mm M.2 PCIe NVMe SSDs (2230 / 2242 / 2260 / 2280) and has exact dimensions connection position and mounting holes such as a standard 9.5 mm U.2 NVMe SSD.
