The legendary High Roller returns with an all-new hybrid tread design, but the same old winning ways.Developed with extensive input and testing from our World Cup athletes, the third generation of the High Roller is built to take on mixed conditions at high speeds. The center tread uses a mid-spike design similar to the Shorty but with a lower knob height. These knobs provide excellent soil penetration in soft, loose, or dusty conditions while remaining stable enough to prevent squirm on hard surfaces. Cornering traction is enhanced via large, well-supported side knobs for predictable handling. The third gen High Roller slots into the Maxxis gravity range between the Assegai and the Shorty. The widely-spaced tread of the High Roller clears debris better than the Assegai and it performs better in drier conditions compared to the Shorty. These attributes make the High Roller a versatile choice when conditions are soft or loose, but don't quite warrant a mud spike.Features:- 3C MaxxGrip rubber compound- EXO+, DoubleDown (2×120 TPI), or Downhill (2×60 TPI) casing options- 30-35mm rim width recommended- Tubeless Ready (TR)Specifications:- Size: 29X2.40- Etrto: 61-622- Tpi: 120- Bead: Foldable- Weight (g): 1,299- Compound: Maxxgrip- Max Psi: 50- Tech: 3CG/DH/TR- Application: MountainPerformance Ratings:- Rolling Speed: 2.5/5- Cornering Control: 4.5/5- Braking Traction: 4/5Technology:3C MaxxGrip:- Maxxis' 3C MaxxGrip compound uses the stickiest, slowest rebounding rubber we offer in a mountain bike tire. We begin with a durable 60 TPI casing, add in our legendary EXO puncture protection layer in the sidewalls, and top it off with a small butyl insert around the bead. The tough casing and EXO material ward off damage from rocks and roots, while the butyl insert protects the tire from pinch flats and helps prevent rim damage.Double Down (DD):- DoubleDown (DD) is our casing solution for enduro racing and e-bike use. Two layers of our lightweight 120 TPI casing material are combined with a butyl sidewall insert to create a highly durable tire with more trail feedback than a Downhill casing tire. DoubleDown tires are marginally lighter than their Downhill counterparts, but it's really the difference in trail feel that sets the two apart. Some riders may prefer the highly damped ride provided by a Downhill casing tire.Downhill (DH):- As the name implies, Maxxis'
