This product complies with the POH (Power over HDBaseT) Class B standard, and by connecting it to a POH Class B compatible transmitter* with a single Category 6a/7 cable, the power supply and one HDMI signal can be transmitted at a resolution of 4K x 2K. It can be extended up to 40m in case of 1080p resolution and up to 70m in 1080p resolution. The VE802R supports RS-232 and IR signal pass-through, allowing you to control HDMI source devices from the remote unit (VE802R) and access HDMI display devices from the local unit (VE802T). IR signals can be extended in both directions. If you connect this product to a Power over HDBaseT (POH) compatible transmitter that can supply power via a twisted pair cable, there is no need to connect a separate power adapter to this product. Furthermore, this product is HDMI (3D, Deep Color, 4K resolution) and HDCP compliant. VE802R is used for high-quality applications such as digital entertainment centers.
