It was developed in 1973 to participate in the European GT races. It has a 2687 cc 6-cylinder engine with 210 HP and a lightweight body with improved aerodynamics. The RSR 2.8 racing version had a revised 2808cc engine with over 300PS and won the European GT racing series in 1973. The model is delivered on the TAMIYA BT-01 chassis in the construction version short wheelbase middle engine and rear wheel drive (MR). The TAMIYA BT-01 chassis is a beginner-friendly chassis which offers 6 different drive and chassis variations. So the wheelbase can be built in 257 mm and 251 mm. Furthermore the chassis is based on the drive systems of real cars and can be built as a front engine or mid-engine with front-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive. The enclosed body is unpainted. Required accessories: remote control with receiver steering servo 7.2 V NiMH battery pack charger colour for bodywork Directions 1. Remove the kit from its packaging. 2. Follow the detailed illustrated instructions (included in English) to assemble the RC car. 3.
