This Tamiya model kit recreates the classic 1966 VW 1300 Beetle. Even in this age of sophistication, the popularity of the Volkswagen "Beetle" has not diminished. The original design dates back to the 1930's when Dr. Ferdinand Porsche provided the design framework for the "People’s Car." Comes complete with engine bar detailing, accurately reproduced exterior and interior, openable front bonnet and rear engine cover, realistic rubber-like tyres, and authentic metal transfer emblems.
Supplied in card box retail style packaging, it is an ideal model kit for the keen hobbyist to assemble and paint.
