Housed within this Grand Seiko Heritage watch is the Calibre 9S68 automatic winding movement, an in-house construction which combines hairspring technology with an escapement developed through the MEMS technology to provide an unbeatable accuracy of +10 to -1 seconds per day and an impressive 3-day power reserve. Just as remarkable on the inside as on the exterior, the design of the Grand Seiko Heritage Automatic watch embodies pure, classical elegance through a sleek stainless steel case measuring to 42mm in diameter and 13.1mm in thickness. The case is equipped with dual-curved sapphire crystal glass treated with anti-reflective coating on the inner surface, a screw down crown and a screw down exhibition case back which delivers a view of the automatic winding movement inside. A sophisticated stainless steel bracelet with three fold clasp and push button release secures the Grand Seiko watch to the wrist while a breathtaking black-coloured dial presents polished steel hands for hours, minutes and seconds and a date display at 3 o’clock.
