The Yamaha SB2J Silent Brass system is a revolutionary tool for brass musicians consisting of a uniquely designed mute and the Personal Studio STJ for seamless interfacing with devices. This technologically advanced system works by silencing your instrument while allowing you to hear yourself playing through headphones. It captures the sound of you... morer instrument with a specially designed mini microphone optimising the audio quality through Yamahas Brass Resonance Modelling technology. The result is an open natural sound as if youre not using a mute at all. With the Personal Studio STJ you can easily connect to a computer or smart device for recording online practice sessions or playing along with your favourite tracks. The Yamaha SB2J Silent Brass is a game-changer providing a silent versatile and immersive playing experience without any compromises. Please note: It is recommended to check your instruments bell diameter to ensure that this mute fits. See the manual for a table showing the recommended sizes of bells.
