The Audio Technica VM520EBH Moving Magnet Cartridge with HS10 Headshell features a high-quality aluminium cantilever enabling precise sound reproduction. As with the VM530ENH cartridge two magnets are arranged to match the positions of the left and right channels in the stereo groove walls. This "V" shaped magnet arrangement allows for magnified stereo separation and broad frequency response ensuring a clear crisp sound output. Thanks to para-toroidal coils the VM520EBH reduces magnetic flux leakage so nothing can interfere with the sound of your records. The permalloy-made centre shield plate will suppress electrical crosstalk to below 40dB delivering a crosstalk reduction that is similar to the value found in the grooves of the records themselves. For superb playback this cartridge provides an elliptical bonded stylus that optimises the 23-degree tracking angle and delivers a supreme sound once it hits the vinys groove.
