Application When using Ronseal's 3-in-1 Basecoat make sure your room is above 10C, and open a window to keep it ventilated. Cold weather can stop the paint from drying properly. Cover anything you don't want to get paint over. Get rid of any loose paint or plaster by giving it a quick sand. Wipe the area you're going to paint with a damp cloth to make sure its clean and free from dust. Give it a really good stir. Then use a roller or brush to put it on. It'll be touch dry in 2 hours. Extra coats may be required when making dramatic colour changes. After 4 hours it'll be ready to paint over.
