Biovores are living artillery organisms, swollen with the explosive Spore Mines they gestate within their bodies. Once anchored to the ground by their chitinous spurs, a Biovore undergoes powerful convulsions that launch its volatile offspring in high arcs as living ammunition. These gas-filled Spore Mines then detonate in bursts of bone shards and corrosive fluids, or drift slowly across the battlefield until prey comes within range. This multipart plastic kit builds a Biovore, a sentient Tyranid mortar creature, along with three floating Spore Mines. The Biovore'.s hulking body supports a symbiotic dorsal launcher, and its swollen spore-sac is packed with bio-explosives ready to be fired. The Spore Mines can be launched by the Biovore or deployed as airborne hazards.
