Axial type fans cause gas to flow through in an axial direction which is parallel to the shaft where the blades rotate, making the flow axial at exit and entry. Axial fans are designed to create a pressure difference and force which produces a flow through the fan. Switch operated

These extractor fans are operated using the light switch for your bathroom. A simple flick of the switch and excess humidity from a shower or long bath can be extracted until you turn the light back off. For extended extractor you may want to consider one with a timer or humidistat.
