The sideboard frame, doors and drawers are solid pine with strong pine faced plywood used for hidden surfaces such as the cabinet back and the drawer bases. Its rustic look is achieved by coating the surfaces in a spirit based antique stain then applying a finishing coat of hard wearing tinted wax effect lacquer.
