The Stanley FatMax V20 cordless system is based around the V20 18v lithium ion battery pack. These batteries are fully compatible with all power tools and outdoor products in the V20 range, meaning that a single battery and charger can be used for a multitiude of different tasks. This FatMax V20 brushless impact wrench has a male 3/8" square drive anvil which is designed for direct connection of 3/8" drive impact sockets. The brushless motor is powerful and energy efficient, for longer runtimes and increased performance, but also compact - meaning that the tool has a much shorter body length than many conventional brushed impact wrenches. The tool has forward and reverse settings for tightening fasteners or breaking them loose, and the powerful impact mechanism means that even rusted, corroded or severely stuck nuts and bolts can be loosened for removal. To assist with locating the fastener in recessed holes or cramped, dark environments, there is an LED worklight which illuminates the work area as soon as the trigger is pulled.
