Suitable for rigid and sprung base divan-style and slatted base beds, non-height adjustable profiling divan and slatted beds. The stable base of the bed rail slides under the bed and clamps securely to the bed’s base, using sliding clamps and a locking lever. This keeps it safely in place whilst in use. It requires a clearance of at least 30mm under the bed. Product safety Bed grab rails must only be used for help getting in and out of bed, or for adjusting your client’s position in bed. They are never to be used to keep a person from falling out of bed. For safety reasons, bed grab rails may not be suitable for people with cognitive impairments or conditions that cause involuntary movement such as epilepsy or spasms.
