Sekonda Chronograph Quartz Black Dial Black Leather Strap Mens Watch 1787 The Case: The Sekonda 1787 is a multi-functional sports chronograph watch that combines style and practicality. The case is made from stainless steel and it measures 45mm in diameter, it is presented in a gunmetal grey hue. The case has been treated to a brushed finish, which gives it a utilitarian feel. On top of the case there is a black and red tachymeter scale. At the side of the case there is an enlarged push/pull crown that is positioned beside the 3 o’clock marker. Two push-buttons are located either side of the crown guards, these buttons provide access to the chronograph functions. Mineral crystal glass is used which provides the watch with superlative levels of protection from scratches and shattering.  The Dial: The black textured dial exhibits three sub-dials that display a 12-hour scale, a 60-minute scale and 24-hour scale. Around the outside of the dial there are to the silver baton-style hour markers that have a luminescent strip so that the dial can be read in the dark. In the centre of the dial there is a sword style handset which also has a luminescent filling. A date-display window is located in between the 4 and 5 o’clock markers, while a 60-minute scale is displayed on the chapter ring. The Sekonda logo is presented in silver beside the 3 o’clock marker. The Strap: The black strap is made from leather with contrasting red stitching. The strap has been perforated, which allows it to breathe when it is on the wrist. The strap fastens using a standard metal buckle which has the Sekonda logo etched into it. The Functions: Japanese made quartz mechanisms power this timepiece, ensuring that it remains reliable and accurate.
