Electric Recline Functionality To operate the electric recliner mechanism simply press one of the two buttons located on the right-hand side of the recliner. This will automatically start rising the footrest first. Once the footrest comes to a certain height then the back will automatically start to recline for total ease of use. To return the chair to its original position simply press the opposite button.
