Aniline Leather is drum dyed with special aniline dyes that permeate the entire hide, it is then finished with a special wax treatment that gives a premium fashion look whilst retaining high levels of abrasion and tear strength. RST only uses full-grain Cowhide that offers excellent abrasion and tear strength. Each hide is visually inspected and batch tested before selection by one of their in-house craftsmen. This jacket also comes with a cool fixed satin liner. The outer quilted detail on this jacket gives it that cool and classic finish that wouldn't go amiss on any classic or cruiser bike. This jacket has double leather reinforcement on the main impact areas of the body. The Roadster 3 also comes with 4 outer pockets located on the waist and chest area to help keep those much needed items close to you at all times.This jacket is certified to CE Rating: AA which means the protection on offer is suited to touring gear. It specifies two seconds of abrasion resistance in Zone 1 (Shoulders, Elbows, Hips and Knees) at 412.6rpm (about 70km/h), one second at 265.3rpm in Zone 2 (outer arms, torso, legs and feet) and 0.5 seconds at 147.4rpm (the equivalent of around 25kmh) in Zone 3 (inner arms, torso and legs). This jacket also comes with CE Level 1 shoulder and elbow armour which means the maximum transmitted force must be below 18 kN, and no single value shall exceed 24 kN.
