MaxTex is a high denier synthetic fabric that offers a good balance of protection and ergonomics. This jacket has a fixed SinAqua waterproof membrane lining. SinAqua is a three-layer durable waterproof and breathable membrane offering breathability of 5000 g/m2/24h and a waterproof rating of over 10000mm/cm3. The Alpha 5 jacket comes with a removable thermal 100g gilet which can be easily removed and put back in depending on the weather you decide to go out in. Along with this, the Alpha 5 comes with a fixed HD mesh. The cuffs on this jacket are adjustable using the Velcro adjustment on them. This can help the wearer get the best feel out of the cuff. This jackets collar is made form a soft neoprene to create maximum comfort for the rider. The ventilation on this jacket is created using the 2 front intake vents which match up with the 1 rear exhaust vent to ensure a smooth air flow through the jacket. This jacket comes with an RST connection zip to ensure it can be connected to any RST pants.This jacket comes with adjustment in the waist, gusset and biceps so that the wearer can get the maximum comfort possible with this jacket. This jacket comes with 2 outer pockets and 5 inner pockets to ensure that you can keep your main belongings on you at all times.The Alpha 5 has a CE Certification rating: AA which means the protection on offer is suited to touring gear. It specifies two seconds of abrasion resistance in Zone 1 (Shoulders, Elbows, Hips and Knees) at 412.6rpm (about 70km/h), one second at 265.3rpm in Zone 2 (outer arms, torso, legs and feet) and 0.5 seconds at 147.4rpm (the equivalent of around 25kmh) in Zone 3 (inner arms, torso and legs). The shoulder and elbow armour on the Alpha 5 are rated to CE Level 1 which means the maximum transmitted force must be below 18 kN, and no single value shall exceed 24 kN.
