Based on the original design, with several modern refinements, these cans are manufactured to a high standard and every can is tested before it leaves the factory to ensure it matches requirements for safety, performance and durability. Sirius Jerry cans are suitable for storing, carrying and pouring a wide range of fuels, including petrol, diesel, kerosene and oil but please note they are not suitable for water. The interior has a petrol, oil and alcohol resistant lining which prevents rusting over long term use, and the durable steel construction will withstand accidental impacts and falls without cracking or bursting. Additionally, a locking pin in the cap prevents the contents from spilling out if the can is knocked over. The bayonet closure is completely leakproof with the can in any position. Sirius jerry cans are available in red, yellow, green and black, and the larger sizes also include options in blue, chrome, orange and white. This enables you to organise multiple cans into colour coded groups for quick and easy identification. For example, red is commonly used for petrol and yellow for diesel.
