Polar Direct to Metal Satin Black 1. Introduction Direct to metal products are designed primarily for direct application onto both ferrous and non-ferrous metal substrates 2.Where to use Designed for use primarily on metal doors, metal garden furniture, metal gates and railings. 3.Where not to use - This product is designed for the use specified, and should be used only for the intended application. 4.Benefits - Apply direct to metal. - Satin hammer finish. - Good salt spray resistance in excess of 250 hours. - Excellent resistance to uv and colour fade. 6. Application Details Protect all non metallic components and prepare the area to be painted, if necessary, ensuring freedom from dust, flakes of rust, grime, greases, oils etc by abrading the surface where required and wiping with a cloth damped with white spirit. Allow to dry. Shake the can thoroughly for at least two minutes. Repeat shaking at regular intervals during use. Apply sparingly from a distance of 15 - 25cm. Apply 2 to 3 light coats as necessary to achieve total and even coverage, leaving about 15 minutes between each application. Allow to dry for 24 hours to develop maximum paint hardness. On completion of use, invert the can and depress the actuator for a few seconds to prevent nozzle blockage.
