Polar Flawless Matt Lacquer 1. Introduction A clear coating that dries to a smooth, transparent finish, designed to provide protection against environmental and mild chemical attack. This product is based upon an acrylic copolymer with good durability and toughness. 2. Where to Use Designed for use on most bare and coated substrates, including wood, metals, plastics, and on such applications as protection of electronic components, paper documents etc. 3. Where not to use - On some pre-painted surfaces without first establishing suitability 4. Benefits - Fast drying. - Outstanding resistance to weathering, and sunlight. - Good resistance to mild acids and alkalis. - Good toughness and scratch resistance. - Good resistance to water and salt spray. 5. Physical Properties - Appearance: Clear Matt Liquid. 6. Application Details Clean the surface thoroughly removing all traces of greases, oils, dirt, grime and un-sound existing coatings. Shake can thoroughly. Hold upright, and spray evenly onto the surface from a distance of 25 to 30cm. If nozzle blocks, invert can and pulse spray until clear. Allow to dry for between 15 and 30 minutes. When further coats are required, allow 20 minutes between applications. Where over-coating of a previously applied alkyd coating is suspected, always test for suitably of use by applying several coats of CLEAR ACRYLIC LACQUER in an inconspicuous area, and allow to dry thoroughly to establish absence of wrinkling and other surface defects. After use, always invert can and depress actuator to prevent nozzle blockage.
