These pants come with a leather inner calf panel to give that extra bit protection. These pants are waterproof using the Reissa waterproof membrane to keep the rider dry when caught out in that sudden downpour. The Mahala jeans also come with a 125g removable thermal liner which includes the ankle gaiter.The Mahala jeans come with the Merlin-branded snap studs with a hook fastening waist, along with calf and ankle adjustment points to help the rider get more comfortable and stop the rise of the jeans whilst riding. Along with these adjustment points, these Merlin jeans come with the YKK jacket-to-jean connector strap and the Euro hoop jacket-to-jean connector straps. These jeans come with ventilation points on the thighs to help with the cooling down if ever caught in warmer weather.These jeans help with the comfort of riding with the inclusion of grip panels which help stay in the same position on the seat. To give even more comfort these jacket have accordion stretch above the knees.
