Due to its hardness, using a quality waxing iron with a stable temperature output is important for efficient melting and bonding.1. Preparation: Set your waxing iron to the recommended temperature of 155°C (311°F).2. Application: Move the iron steadily along the ski or snowboard base. The ideal speed is a continuous pass that takes approximately 8-10 seconds to cover the length of a skating or alpine ski. This ensures the wax melts thoroughly into the base structure.3. Durability Boost : For even greater durability, especially for long races or training sessions, allow the ski to cool completely to room temperature (about 10 minutes) and then perform a second pass with the hot iron to reheat the wax.4.
