The 200mm length provides excellent control and reach for most filing tasks, whilst the medium second cut delivers a smoother surface finish on high-alloy tool steels and precision filing work. The medium cut grade makes this file ideal for secondary filing operations where material has already been roughly shaped, or for applications requiring a better surface finish from the outset. Perfect for deburring flat surfaces with reduced roughness, filing sharp corners and shoulders to a smoother standard, and preparing surfaces for final finishing.
