In the late 1930’s, watches were traditionally kept simple and easy to use with light coloured dials and large Arabic numerals. The Longines Heritage Military watch honours this tradition with a crisp silver textured dial, painted Arabic numerals and blue steel hands. The simplicity of its design remains only within the aesthetics, with the complex and highly reliable L888 automatic winding movement housed within. The Swiss made calibre provides central hands for hours, minutes and seconds, a frequency of 25,200 vibrations per hour, a 64 hours of power reserve and comes embellished with 21 jewels.  The Longines Heritage Military watch continues to improve on its historic counterpart with scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass treated with anti-reflective coating on the underside, a screw down case back, screw in crown and a water resistant rating of 30 metres. To complete its vintage aesthetic, the Longines Heritage watch is presented with a gorgeous khaki green calfskin leather strap and a classic steel pin buckle.
