Inspired by the Swiss watch manufacturer’s Minerva heritage and the pocket watches produced during the late 19th century, the Montblanc Star Legacy watch collection is home to some of the brand’s highest-end watches outfitted with full manufacture movements. This Montblanc Star Legacy Chronograph is no exception, delivering classic Swiss watchmaking complications alongside a stylish aesthetic perfectly fitting for a luxury dress watch. At its centre, the Montblanc Star Legacy Automatic Date watch houses the Calibre MB 25.02 automatic winding movement which alongside a frequency of 28,800vph provides 27 jewels and a power reserve of 48 hours. The central hands for hours, minutes and chronograph seconds, date window at 4 o’clock and three subsidiary dials for small seconds, 30 minutes and 12 hours are presented on a refined silvery-white dial with black Arabic numerals and classic blue leaf-shaped hands. To protect the Swiss manufacture within and provide a water resistant rating of 30 metres, the 42mm stainless steel case is equipped with a non-screw onion-shaped crown decorated with the famous Montblanc star emblem, a polished fixed bezel and domed sapphire crystal glass, a material famed for its scratch resistance and anti-reflective coating.
