The collaboration pays homage to the important work of the organisation, which carries out thousands of air rescue missions each year with its fleet of 21 airframes comprising 18 helicopters and three fixed wing aircraft. This 41mm stainless steel model, with a striking gunmetal PVD coated finish, references the Airbus H145 HB ZQI aircraft on its specially engraved caseback, along with its unique tail number. The 100 meter water resistant pilot’s watch is based on the design of the Oris Big Crown ProPilot wristwatch but comes with an additional GMT function and pulsometer scale on a bidirectional rotating bezel. These features have been identified by the needs of pilot’s, who played a hand in designing this legible and robust pilot’s watch. The timepiece is powered by an automatic movement that provides a 42 hour power reserve and features a stealthy matte black dial with Super LumiNova hands and indexes. The 24 hour scale is easy to locate thanks to a red arrow tipped GMT hand, whilst a useful date function is located at 3 o’clock. In addition to a red Rega logo at 6 o’clock, the dial of this Oris Rega Fleet Limited Edition watch also comes with a black coated central second hand and secures comfortably to the wrist with a black leather band. To alternate the strap with the additional red rubber band supplied with each purchase, a strap adjustment tool is also provided.
