Although it is tubeless-ready, the hooked construction also allows the use of tube-type tyres for maximum compatibility. Its 45mm depth offers a good balance between speed and handling so that there is a marked aerodynamic advantage, but the wheel doesn’t become too much of a handful should the wind hit from the side, making it a great all-round option. Hub-wise, the wheel is equipped with DT Swiss’ top-line 180 model, with durable, low friction SiNC ceramic bearings for the least amount of drag and Center Lock disc brake fitting. This is laced to the rim using premium DT aerolite II spokes with a t-head design that holds the bladed spokes in the most aerodynamic orientation.
