Ideal for all-conditions touring and technical backcountry descents.The new Ultra Stratos Split is a dynamic and versatile ultralight splitboard built for extending your range and pushing your riding potential in all-conditions.Built with the body of a directional freeride board and the spirit of a freestyle board, the Ultra Stratos has an energetic board feel thanks to a narrow sidecut and a camber heavy directional rocker profile. For added float and quick edge-to-edge response, the Ultra Stratos features 10 mm of taper and a 3D Contour Base 3.0. The Ultra Stratos is built with our ultralight Fusion Carbon construction including a wood core made with two sections of Koroyd that absorb chatter at a fraction of the weight of wood. For added edge grip and unmatched torsional board lock, the Ultra Stratos Split features Inner/Outer Traction Tech 3.0, the Boltless Bridge, Karakoram Tip Lock Tip Clips and Karakoram 3C Clips that clamp together with a three point tension system. The Ultra Stratos Split is designed for expert splitboarders who tour in all snow conditions and whose eyes are drawn to creative lines full of terrain features.3D Contour Base 3.0:- Freeride focused 3D-base contours featuring an even balance of 7mm of spoon bevel in the nose and 7mm of spoon bevel in the tail. Spoon bevel starts at the rocker point.Shape Tech:Inside & outside Traction Tech 3.0:- Traction Tech 3.0 features three bumps per edge (front binding, board center, back binding). The middle bump is slightly bigger than the outside bumps for better grip.Inner edge Traction Tech:- Inner edge Traction Tech improves splitboard edge grip on ascent. Three sidecut bumps on each side of your binding keep your locked in on icy skin tracks no matter which way you are traversing.Progressive sidecut:- At the far ends of the sidecut, the radius is incrementally increased as the edge reaches the contact point. Gradually increasing the sidecut radius towards the contact point delivers smoother turn initiation and exit as the edge tracks in and out of the snow with a less abrupt transition.Quick Tension Tail Clip:- Built-in climbing skin tension system using pre-cut notch that eliminates the need for a traditional skin tail clip.Boltless Bridge:- The Boltless Bridge eliminates split clip attachment hardware from the base of the board by re-profiling the wood core at the clips. The wood core under the clips is thicker, providing better torsional stiffness and a more powerful connection at the split clips.Directional flex pattern:- Off set tip-to-tail flex pattern that is designed for directional freeride boards. The nose, center of board and tail are slightly different stiffnesses to help lift the nose, sink the tail and improve stability at speed.Profile:Directional Rocker:- A hybrid rocker/camber flex pattern defined by more tip rocker then tail rocker and camber between the bindings. The rockered tip floats the board's nose and improves
