The watch is protected from shock and water penetration. Hands and markers are illuminated through the use of 15 self-powered micro gas tubes that glow 100 times brighter than luminous paint. The watch has a single-button chronograph that produces accumulated measurements of up to 12 hours. Other useful features include a pulsemeter graduated for 15 pulsations, a triple month-day-date display, see-through case back, screwed-in crown and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass with anti-reflective coating.
