The timepiece is powered by COSC certified movement, protected by the BALL’s patented Amortiser® anti-shock system and enhanced by cold temperature resistance oil to ensure ultimate timekeeping in sub-zero temperatures. This chronometer is shining with micro gas tube luminosity. Sometimes there is no escaping the darkness. The self-powered H3 micro gas tubes provide extreme readability and trusted reliability in all pursuits. For exceptional anti-magnetic protection, a mu-metal shield has been added to the piece. Mu-metal is an alloy of nickel, iron, copper and molybdenum with very high magnetic permeability, enabling it to attract and deviate static or low-frequency magnetic field lines. Mu-metal shield is capable of protecting a mechanical watch against magnetic fields up to an astonishing intensity of 1, 000 Gauss (or 80, 000A/m).
