Directly derived from the legendary Porsche 956 Group C, it is distinguished by the unmistakable and eye-catching orange livery of its main sponsor. It was developed to offer a well-balanced mix of power, reliability, and aerodynamics. The aluminium monocoque chassis was paired with a powerful 2.65-litre twin-turbo Porsche engine capable of delivering over 600 hp. Completing the car’s configuration were rear-wheel drive and aerodynamics designed to ensure top-level performance. On track, the Porsche 956 reached a top speed exceeding 350 km/h. Even today, the Porsche 956 Jägermeister remains a symbol of the golden age of endurance racing.
