In 1938, based on a specific request from the German army, BMW and Zundapp received the brief to start a co-joint development project to guarantee the highest number of common components, optimising the maintenance activities and spare parts logistics. The prototypes had been released in 1940 and the production started at the beginning of 1941. The side-car wheel was driven with an axle connected to the rear wheel of the motorcycle. This was fitted with a locking differential and selectable gear ratios to optimize the on-road / off-road performance. The twin-cylinder engine had a displacement of 750cc and was capable of delivering 26 HP. The BMW R75 was widely used on nearly all important operating theatres, and in all environmental conditions from North Africa to Russia. It repeatedly proved its reliability and sturdiness. Starter Paint Pack Includes: 5 x 17ml Vallejo model paints. Vallejo paints are supplied in plastic bottles of 17ml with an eyedropper device which keeps paint from drying and prevents spills. The model color range has been specifically developed for adherence on difficult surfaces such as metal and plastic, but the product is not toxic, not flammable, and does not give off noxious fumes.  Please note: The paint packs offered are only our suggestion from the box art and will not match directly with the instructions found within the kit.
