Naoto Fukasawa: ''The Eugenia series was conceived after visiting Alberto Alessi several times, drinking his wine and enjoying life. One day, I had the idea of designing glasses for tasting his wine. The design is simply a trapezoid, a conical shape, with the addition of a strong line near the edge of the lips. When the lip touches the glass, you feel the obtuse angle, which is a rather simple but quite unique detail. It's a wine glass that's quite formal yet very unique and exceptional.''
