MET Manta MIPS Road Cycling Helmet With a refined design, a wind tunnel tuned profile and exceptional safety features, the MET Manta MIPS Helmet is an ideal choice for the discerning road rider who craves speed and comfort. The in-moulded polycarbonate shell and the EPS liner donate vast levels of impact protection to shield the skull from hard, direct blows. This protection is complemented by the MIPS-C2 system that floats and pivots between the EPS liner and the head to markedly reduce injury from indirect glances and rotational forces. A refined profile of the helmet body has been developed in the wind tunnel to reduce aerodynamic drag at higher riding speeds. Despite the sleek and slippery shape, ventilation hasn't been compromised thanks to the large NACA vent and 14 smaller vents that work in unison to encourage a cooling airflow smoothly over the scalp and out of the rear exhaust configuration. Comfort is assured by the Safe-T Orbital fit system and the adjustable 360° belt that clasps the head securely without causing peak pressure points. The Air Lite straps are soft against the skin and are fastened by a magnetic Fidlock buckle that promotes quick and easy operation. The helmet is completed with hand washable internal pads and handy ports to slot sunglasses into when they aren't being worn.
