The boots have a micro-fiber design on the front, rear bellow and rear calf. A DRYSTAR membrane has been used to ensure the boots are 100% waterproof and breathable.As a Rider, you can have peace of mind whilst using these boots as the high amount of protection included within the construction and features has allowed the SMX-6 V2 to be CE Certified. The boots feature a TPU lateral ankle brace which provides biomechanical support between the top of the calf, shin, and the ankle. On the medial side of the ankle, there is a internal protector which provides double density protection. For the toes, there is an internal toe box protection which is layered to provide protection.For comfort whilst riding, there are air vents in the shin plate, cut and heel counter which feature breathable mesh inserts. There is an internal insole which the shank reinforcement for added support to the arch area.The boots have a medial side entry opening and closing zipper system, featuring an elastic-mounted zipper with wide Velcro closure.
