Elongated pendant lamp Tulip in floral design The seven-flame pendant lamp Tulip looks light, elegant and dreamy in its design. Seven tulips with a crown of flowers molded from Lentiflex®, which makes each flower unique, hang from the elongated canopy. The technopolymer Lentiflex® is a plastic specially developed and patented by Slamp, which is characterized by its transparency and its very special lighting effect. Attached to almost invisible steel cables, the flowers appear as if they are floating freely. The different inclination of each tulip enhances the natural look, the individual flowers among themselves are connected with thin copper wire, through which the electricity flows in low voltage. The pendant lamp was designed by industrial designer Marc Sadler. He has many years of experience as a designer in the sports industry and was one of the first to design plastic sports equipment. Sadler has won the ADI Golden Compass Award four times and has received numerous other international awards. In 1968 he graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and was one of the pioneers of experimentation with his dissertation on plastics. The lamp was manufactured in the lighting company Slamp, founded in 1992 by Roberto Ziliani and based in Rome, Italy. Slamp places particular emphasis on the development of new materials. Here, in addition to natural and traditional materials such as leather, copper, crystal or stainless steel, luminaires are made from exclusive technopolymers such as Cristalflex®, Opalflex® and Lentiflex®, which have been specially developed and patented by the company. These technopolymers allow the realization of unique lighting effects and designs that become eye-catchers everywhere and are the trademark of the Italian company.
