In 1965, architect and product designer Gae Aulenti designed the world-famous Pipistrello table lamp. Like many post-war designers, Gae Aulenti is fascinated by the avant-garde scene, which is also reflected in her experimental lamp designs. The base of the lamp is made of lacquered metal, a stainless steel telescope that helps you adjust the height of the lamp, and an opal white methacrylate lampshade. The on/off switch is located on the lamp's cable.
