The Alpinestars Descender V3 jacket is an optimal main cover that's really lightweight, windproof and soft to the touch. It offers additional water-repellent treatment for light rain or wet conditions. It includes soft nylon mesh inserts in the underarms to increase air flow and help control moisture. This nylon mesh is made with soft elastic and is featured also in the inside collar for improved comfort. The semi-auto-lock zip allows you to adjust the zip as you like, and there's a cover over the inside of the zip to prevent irritation and to stop it catching, plus protection under the chin. The elasticated cuffs and waist keep the garment in place. The back of the jacket is longer for extra cover, which is really useful in the riding position. The reflective details on the front and back increase visibility in low light conditions. The jacket is easy to pack away into its own pocket so you can always have it with you.
