This is down to the GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ fabric that makes up the front section, a windproof fabric that prevents the bite of cold winds from getting to your core. Meanwhile, a lighter perforated material on the back allows heat and moisture to escape, regulating body temperature and preventing you from getting too sweaty when putting in harder efforts.  The cuffs are constructed from a raw-cut stretch fabric that works well with gloves and creates a seal against the elements. When things do start to heat up, you can unzip the openings on the chest or open the main zipper for a blast of fresh air. Reflective logos finish off the jacket nicely, adding a touch of extra visibility.
