A mysterious and evocative fragrance that tells the story of Ubar, a lost city at the south-east of the Arabian Peninsula, where converged the ancient incense trade routes linking the East to the Mediterranean regions. Collapsed because it had been built on a dome of limestone, the city was found in 1992, in Oman, after being buried in the sands for almost 1500 years. The fragrance opens with Bergamot and Cypress notes to introduce a vibrant heart of Black Pepper and Clary Sage while the most noble Incense speaks of history and legend. And it closes with an intense and warm Leather, enhanced by Labdanum, that recalls the odor of the caravans' tanned leather. Ubar 1992 is an opulent Amber trail enclosed in a refined bottle which evokes - with its hot stamped geometries - the latticework of the Arab palaces, surmounted by the sumptuous and distinctive Moresque's golden cap.
