Alvise lived in Venice, which at the time was a trading centre for travellers from all over the world and was characterised by a multicultural society. Alvise loved the exuberant and colourful life of the aristocracy and captured his impressions in fragrances. Today, the perfume house is run by his descendants, who bring Alvise's fragrances to the market in a slightly modernised form.
