Alpinestars have also developed a ergonomic stretch insert between the Thumb and Palm which offers flexibility to vastly improve the hand movement.For hand protection, the Gloves include a Leather Palm for superior abrasion resistance in a key area, and a synthetic Leather reinforcement on the outside of the Hand with additional padding in the landing zones for maximum abrasion resistance and comfort. The Palm, fingers and backhand are padded with absorbing EVA foam, along with durable and flexible SP protection across the Knuckles for class-leading impact and abrasion protection. There is also a finger-bridge which prevents excessive finger-roll and separation.
