It has a technical modern upper constructed with an advanced blend of microfibre and synthetic high resistance textile laminated by a seamless PU for enhanced breathability.The boot is made with a Gore-Tex membrane for 100% guaranteed waterproof performance and breathability. Gore-Tex Membrane contains over 1.4 billion microscopic pores per square cm (9 billion pores per square inch). These pores are 20,000 times smaller than a water droplet, but 700 times larger than a water vapor molecule. This means that any water/moisture from the outside will not be able to penetrate and reach the rider, yet perspiration can escape easily, so that less moisture is trapped in the insulation. This allows the rider to stay warmer when it s cold and perspire effectively in warmer months.These Boots feature Alpinestars integrated Transversal Protection Frame (TPF) which protects the foot while delivering the necessary support on the footrest without compromising the front boot flexion for superior walking comfort. The reinforced hell counter and toe box, with an additional shift pad extra layer and a reinforced shin area to protect against any impact. As a result of all the high-quality protection included, this boot is CE certified. The boots come with innovative instep fast lace adjuster which control the instep volume of the boot for a precise fitment and retention to make the rider as comfortable as possible. The boot opening is managed by lateral zip mounted on and elasticated panel, covered by a hook and loop flap to protect the zipper and maintain the boots flexion.
